Everyone that knew Mack knows as well as I do, that Mack was a helluva guy, a devoted husband and father and loved his family. He built my house in 1996 and I will forever be in debt to him and the great work he did. Mack was not just a friend, he was like a brother. Mack....I miss you and we all love you. God speed brother.

I recall Mack very well. The road he lived on or near bordered my neighborhood and to my knowledge was named for the family (Anderson Road).
I believe Joe Anderson, who also live on Anderson Road, was related in some way to Mack. I seem to remember he rode a motorcycle quite often in the early days of his youth.
Mack seemed to be rather care-free always smiling. I am sure he is missed by his family and friends.

David,
Mack and Joe and his brother Don were related and were cousins. You are correct about the road, it was named for the Anderson's. Mack and I were friends and he also played football with my older brother. Joe and Don and I have the same cousins, although Joe and Don and I are not related. Mack was a helluva guy and we all miss him dearly. I still can't believe he is gone.

I remember Mack and Joe both. Seems like Mack was always smiling. Hard to believe he is gone now. I thought I would be one of the first from 78 to go. Seems like yesterday that we moved from the old school to the new one on Central Drive. I have had very limited contact with any one from the Class of '78 so my memories are still of every one being 17-18 years old. Hits hard when some one you remember as a fit teenager passes. RIP Mack. Todd Brewer Class of '78

I can't believe that I haven't responded to this, but here goes. Mack and I were close with Pat "Ma" Mote, and he and I became pretty good friends in her room and also on the track team my senior year. I called him to give me an estimate on painting what turned out to be the exes house in Buford sometime in the late 90's. We had a good time reminiscing (sp?) about the good ole days. I hate that I didn't get another chance to tell him goodbye. RIP, Mack....Love ya Brother!

I was in the Class of '78 with Mack. He was voted Most Athletic in the senior annual I think. He was a good guy, always smiling and keeping the spirit up. This is the first I've heard about his passing. I thought he was the type of guy that would out live us all.
